Hello! I am thrilled and honored to be one of the Growing in Unity Girls this week! Unity Stamp Company is my favorite place to buy stamps — they have something for everyone. If you’re not familiar with them, you can check them out here. For five days I’ll be showing you different creations featuring stamps from Unity. Please take a moment to comment on each day’s post and you may be the lucky winner of a grab bag of Unity Stamps!
Today, I wanted to show you some things I’ve scrapbooked using Unity Stamps. This one is a scrapbook page that I then mounted in a shadowbox and made as a gift for a couple getting married.
The stamps featured here are the rows of lights draping along the top which is from one of this year’s Kits of the Month (KOM) and “Cherished Moments” — the bride and groom stamp. The rows of lights were stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. To make them pop a bit, I accented them with Nuvo Crystal Drops . When I saw the invitation, this stamp immediately came to mind, and I really like the effect it gave.
To assemble the rest of the page, I took photos of the bride and groom from their Save the Date card and mounted them on navy suede. The flowers were made using the Classic Rose Stamp and Die Sets from Heartfelt Creations. I also shaped the roses with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and used Ocean Color Box Ink to color them. All the specialty and background papers are from Paper Wishes.
Here is a closer look at the “Cherished Moments” stamp from Unity:
They were stamped on white cardstock and I fussy cut them out. I then paper-pieced their outfits. For the bride, I stamped her again on lace, cut out and adhered that to the skirt and veil. For the groom, I stamped him with Frost White Color Box Ink on black suede paper and paper-pieced his tuxedo. I then added Diamond Stickles to the bride’s skirt and veil, and Crystal Stickles to her bodice. I added small pearls to her headpiece. Lastly, I colored them both with Spectrum Noir Pens.
I’m very pleased with how this came out, and I hope the happy couple liked it too.
Sometimes a little accent is all you need to add the perfect touch to a scrapbook page. I made this page to celebrate my Mom’s birthday:
My Mom loves butterflies. So, this Itty Bitty Stamp from Unity (which isn’t really so itty-bitty) called “Butterfly Birthday Cupcake” was the perfect touch for this page. I stamped it on cream-colored patterned paper and colored in the flowers on the butterfly with a Red Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir. All the papers are from Paper Wishes’ White Truffle Paper Pack.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post and the featured stamps from Unity. If you haven’t checked out Unity Stamp Company, I can’t recommend them enough. Please leave a comment below for this post and come back tomorrow for more projects with Unity. If you leave a comment all 5 days, you may win a grab bag of stamps from Unity!
Thanks for stopping by!
Unity Stamps are the best for Scrapbooking because they are so big. Other company stamps tend to get lost on the page. Your wedding stamped project is fabulous!!!
